2026 Wings Night

Join us for the Bendigo Flying Club’s annual Wings Night, a special evening celebrating the achievements of our students, pilots and members over the past year. Throughout the night, a range of awards will be presented to recognise flying milestones and training achievements. Guests will enjoy a sit-down meal while celebrating another successful year of flying at the club.

We are also honoured to welcome Wing Commander Ian Warburton as our guest speaker. Ian has had an extraordinary career spanning more than five decades with the Royal Australian Air Force, beginning as an airframe fitter at just 15 years of age before completing pilot training and going on to fly aircraft including the Iroquois, Chinook, Black Hawk and Hawker Siddeley 748. In 2025, Ian became the first RAAF member to receive the 8th clasp to the Defence Long Service Medal and his 4th Federation Star, recognising an incredible 55 years of service.
