Safe Flying at Bendigo Airport

We’re a busy airport at times, training aircraft, local traffic, visitors, QLink and Air Ambulance all mix in with our regular operations. With Bendigo being an uncontrolled airport, everything relies on predictable entry and departure procedures, clear radio calls, and strong “look and listen” habits to keep the picture sharp.

Aircraft will occasionally get closer than we’d like, calls can sound a bit odd, and the workload can spike when the circuit fills up. It happens. What matters is how we manage it and how we look out for each other.
